JONATHAN A. BRISKIN, J.D., M.D.

Well before he completed medical school and the forensic pathology fellowship that followed, Dr. Briskin’s work combined the fields of law and medicine. He has been successfully litigating medical malpractice matters on behalf of injured patients for three decades, recently passed the twenty year milestone as a practicing forensic pathologist, and is one of only a small number of physician-attorneys in southeastern Pennsylvania who are in active practice in both fields. In addition to performing coroner’s and private autopsies, he serves as an expert and consultant in medical/legal matters involving death investigations for both the civil and criminal bar, and teaches in the fields of anatomy, pathology, forensic pathology, forensic medicine and the law.

Dr. Briskin focuses his practice on serious personal injury matters across the health care spectrum.

Ms. Lewis and Dr. Briskin have been working together since 1987. After suit is filed and before a case is called for trial, a long period of intense preparation takes place, and she is the partner primarily responsible for shepherding litigants through this process. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Association for Justice and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
